I am an interpreter and translator by profession, but I am also deeply connected to music as an oud player. I am strongly interested in cultural exchange through music, which has been a fundamental part of my academic background, as I studied Eastern European languages and cultures. I am originally Sudanese and have been living in Belgium for almost 20 years.
In addition to this, I have participated in numerous music festivals, most recently the Souq Festival in Amsterdam, alongside the internationally renowned musician Naseer Shamma. I am currently continuing my musical studies at Bait Al Oud in Abu Dhabi.
