Hassan Yassin is the founder of Dessinsoud, a company specializing in interior design and décor. He has a strong passion for sports and holds a master’s degree in martial arts. He is a former teacher with 15 years of experience, as well as a writer and poet.

He has participated in several festivals in France, most notably the Arabic Poetry Festival at the Arab World Institute, Parallel Lines in the city of Calais, and the Étonnants Voyageurs festival in Saint-Malo. He also worked with Le Monde magazine during the early days of the Sudanese revolution, as well as with several other European magazines, and participated in the Venice Festival of Migrant Literature.

He has volunteered with a number of civil society organizations, most notably Al-Aqd Al-Fareed, Shari‘ Al-Hawadeth, and Aqd Al-Jallad. He is Sudanese by nationality and has been residing in France since April 2016.
