
Mohamed Al Asbat is a Sudanese journalist and political analyst based in Paris, recognized for his fearless reporting and steadfast commitment to press freedom. He has been a prominent voice on human rights, political accountability, and the pressing challenges facing Sudanese society.
A graduate of El Neelain University in Khartoum with a law degree, Mohamed has worked as a journalist and editor for numerous regional newspapers, covering political developments and conflicts in Sudan. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Mashaweer News Platform, serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Writers and Journalists in Europe, and is Secretary of the Union of Sudanese Writers as well as a member of the secretariat of the Sudanese Journalists Network.
Since moving to France, he has continued to speak out on Sudan’s situation, sharing his insights on media freedom and human rights with international audiences. Through his work, Mohamed amplifies Sudanese voices abroad, fostering global awareness and dialogue on justice, freedom, and the future of his homeland.
