Launching 2024
Comprised of regional representatives from around the world, the Women’s Global Consultation is a space for experts, practitioners, and thought-leaders to explore opportunities and pave a path towards policy wins and advocacy highlights.
As a global network, we come together to share research and findings, support mutual goals and achieve collective wins. Facilitated spaces, webinars, virtual events, and periodic convenings bring us together for information exchange and cross-pollination. Our process includes:
- Analyzing the underlying causes of xenophobia and anti-immigrant sentiment
- Understanding and amplifying the legal mechanisms to protect migrants at the local, national, and global levels—including via UN Human rights protocols
- Engaging a network of diverse organizations and actors implementing complementary activities in support of migrants and refugees
- Engaging in public advocacy and awareness raising
- Including affected communities and those with “lived experience” in the strategic approach
